NO All you need is a
computer with Internet Explorer and a media player; however, working hands-on
with a Windows Server 2008 computer may enhance your training experience.
"Which Microsoft certification exams do I take after completing this training
package?"
The
three exams needed to achieve the MCITP Server Administrator certification are
83-640, 70-642, and 70-646. The courses in this package will prepare you for
all three of these exams.
"Will the training courses in this package prepare me for the lab based 83-640
Windows Server 2008 Active Directory exam?"
Yes! This
course will help you prepare for the lab based 83-640 Windows Server 2008 Active
Directory exam, which will gradually replace the 70-640 exam. The study
objectives are the same for both exams (70-640 and 83-640); the content has not
changed, just the format. To make sure you are properly prepared for your exam
we now provide you with access to Transcender’s 83–640 Virtual Lab Environment,
where you can work hands on with Windows Server 2008.
Note: The 83-640
exam has replaced the 70-640 exam in
select countries only. In areas where the 83-640 exam hasn’t been
released, test-takers will take the 70-640 exam. Both versions count equally
toward certification. Be sure to know which exam is offered in your area.
